BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Artem Masunov is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Nanoscience Technology Center at the University of Central Florida, United States. He received his Ph.D. degree in Physical and Theoretical Chemistry from The City University of New York in 2000. During his career, he has supervised and graduated six Ph.D. and four M.S. students and has received many awards. He is serving as member for several professional associations. To date, he published over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He also serves on the editorial board for International Journal of Photochemistry, Nanomaterials, and Journal of Theoretical & Computational Science.
RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Artem Masunov’s research covers three areas of computational materials science: (1) linear and nonlinear optical spectroscopy, photophysics, and photochemistry; (2) inorganic and nanostructured materials; (3) aggregation of polymethine dyes, polymers, proteins, and peptides.
